by Navras on April 19, 2008, 12:03:06 AMTonight, a consortium of <Project Måyhem>, <Token>, and <Saga> ventured into the Lair of Magtheridon, with intent to kill. In short order, we learned the fight, and dispatched of Magtheridon, a guild first kill! Congratulations to Tariane and Darros of <Token> and Tykoon of <Project Måyhem> on their Tier 4 chests. Also, congratulations to Meezgotbeer of <Project Måyhem> on his [Aegis of the Vindicator], to Ceibs of <Token> on his [Pit Lord's Satchel], and to Carlic on obtaining [Magtheridon's Head]! Great run everyone! 656 Views | 11 Replies

by Lazare on January 26, 2008, 06:29:05 AMProject Måyhem made extremely good progress tonight and downed Leotheras the Blind. To recap - we took a break over the holiday period, with the stated goal of making some serious progress in SSC when we resumed. Tonight marked the end of the third week of raiding since our break. The results? Week 1: Guild-first kill of Hydross, Lurker down, guild-first kill of Morogrim. Week 2: Hydross down, Lurker down, Morogrim down, guild-first kill of Karathress. Week 3: Hydross down, Lurker down, Morogrim down, Karathress down, guild-first kill of Leotheras. The instance is starting to look awfully empty. It's also worth noting that Hydross died on the first night of serious attempts, Morogrim on the very first attempt, Karathress on the second night of attempts, and Leotheras on the second night of attempts. Impressive work. Moving forward, our next goal is Vashj. Will she last any longer than her henchmen henchnaga hench... minions? Only time will tell. Congratulations to Bleedinbeard on his [Rift Stalker Gauntlets], Manasseh on his [Gloves of Tirisfal], and Egormus on his [True-Aim Stalker Bands]. Also a big "thank you" to Hoochymama who spent a lot of time and effort so that he could sucessfully tank Leotheras' demon form. 258 Views | 0 Replies

by Lazare on January 20, 2008, 09:45:13 AMAnother raid, another new boss dead. Fathom-Lord Karathress proved fairly easy, dying on our second night of attempts. In fact, getting a screenshot of the kill proved much harder. I've got no idea what Zealanius is doing, and Redlock isn't even visible. I'm told he is off molesting an NPC or something... Oh well, it turns out Karathress leaves an ugly corpse anyhow. Congratulations to Gogoyubari and Lanakila on their new [Deathmantle Legguards] and to Lazare on his new [Soul-Strider Boots]. For those keeping track, it's been almost two weeks since we resumed raiding and announced a new push into SSC. In that time we've downed three new SSC bosses. Excellent progress! 355 Views | 2 Replies

by Navras on January 12, 2008, 01:59:06 AMContinuing our push into SSC, Project Måyhem first dispatched of Lurker, then decided to pay a visit to Morogrim Tidewalker. While we had a slow start, we picked up steam after Lurker, and through the preparation of everyone in the raid, had a near-flawless first attempt kill of Morogrim Tidewalker! In three days, our SSC record has climbed from 1/6 to 3/6. Great job everyone! Congratulations to Aravan on his [Warboots of Obliteration] and Komplex on his [Luminescent Rod of the Naaru]! 313 Views | 1 Reply

by Lazare on January 10, 2008, 08:31:06 AMOur first venture back into Serpentshrine Cavern in the new year was successful, ending with our first kill of Hydross the Unstable. Overall I'd say it took us about 8 wipes to learn the fight, which wasn't bad. (And then another couple wipes caused by tanks DCing in the middle...) In fact, the hard part seemed to be figuring out how to rez. This normally simple task quickly grew into a lengthy and complex activity, involving frantic shouted orders, coordinated pulls, teams of rezzers, and many failures. At one point, attempts to rez one person ended up with people scattered across half the instance, many of them dead. I prefer to avoid any speculation as to what recreational drugs, if any, contributed to this. We tried to sacrifice Nophere to the fish gods but it didn't seem to help. Anyhow, Hydross died. Congratulations to Thirsk on his [Scarab of Displacement], Navras on his [Ranger-General's Chestguard], and Manasseh on his [Fathomstone]. Raiding has resumed. 348 Views | 2 Replies

by Navras on November 15, 2007, 02:45:14 AMOn our very first night in the new instance, Zul'Aman, Project Måyhem fielded a full three raids for Zul'Aman in addition to a Karazhan raid. The Karazhan run, a mixture of long-time raiders and some newer members, went very smoothly and netted each player 11 [Badge of Justice]. Very worthwhile with all that nice new Heroic Badge loot! Zul'Aman proved very entertaining, definitely challenging, but overall, a lot of fun. All three raids were able to down the first boss, Nalorakk - Bear Avatar. Raid 1 and 3 were also able to down Akil'zon - Eagle Avatar. And Raid 3 even made it to Halazzi - Lynx Avatar, and on the first real attempt, killed him! A big congratulations to Artoria on her [Skullshatter Warboots]! This was a great night of raiding for Project Måyhem, and we look forward to continuing our progress through the new content. Congratulations and thanks to everyone who participated, it was really quite an achievement to have four successful raids run in one night. This leaves just three more bosses to down in a brand new instance! Great Job, Everyone!! 381 Views | 1 Reply

by Navras on October 13, 2007, 02:15:24 AMTonight, Project Måyhem ventured over to pay High Astromancer Solarian a visit. Not finding her very hospitable, we decided to take some of her shiny possessions as a parting gift. Congratulations to JLS on his [Star-Strider Boots], Lazare on his [Wand of the Forgotten Star], and Deathshank on his [Heartrazor]! 411 Views | 0 Replies

by Navras on August 25, 2007, 02:06:29 AMProject Måyhem quickly dispatched of Maulgar and Gruul, and moved on to Tempest Keep. On our last attempt on Void Reaver of the night, we all came together and made a near-perfect Guild First kill of Void Reaver, a full one minute ahead of the enrage timer. A huge congratulations to everyone, especially Magusrex on getting [Cowl of the Grand Engineer] and Warion and Navras on getting their Tier 5 Shoulders, Project Måyhem's first Tier 5! Awesome job, everyone! 711 Views | 8 Replies
